Mental Health First Connects
Road To 2K
Our Vision: Expanding Access, Elevating Voices
Mental Health First Connects (MHFC) is at a pivotal moment. With the launch of the "Road to 2K Campaign," we aim to amplify our mission: connecting communities to culturally competent mental health resources that are accessible, transformative, and life-saving. In a society where mental health disparities disproportionately affect Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, our work as a connector is critical. We serve as the essential link between individuals in need and the mental health care professionals who can best support them. The Road to 2K is about expanding that connection—reaching more people, creating sustainable impact, and ensuring that no one is left without the mental health care they deserve.
Our Goal: 2,000 Recurring Donors and 2,000 Followers
At the heart of this campaign is a dual goal: securing 2,000 recurring donors and 2,000 new followers across our social media platforms by the end of 2024. We need 2,000 donors, each contributing $25 per month, to sustain and grow our work in providing mental health resources to underserved communities. These contributions will allow MHFC to continue acting as a vital lifeline, guiding individuals to mental health resources that are culturally relevant and aligned with their unique needs.

Your Support Matters
The mental health crisis is not a new challenge, but it has become even more pronounced in marginalized communities. For many BIPOC individuals, systemic barriers such as lack of access, stigma, and the absence of culturally competent care have led to a crisis in which mental health services are either unavailable or ineffective. MHFC bridges this gap by ensuring that individuals can access professionals and organizations that truly understand the intersection of mental health, culture, and community.
How Funds Are Used
The funds raised through the Road to 2K campaign will help us expand our reach, develop new partnerships, and ensure that every person who needs help can find it. Whether through our resource directory, workshops, or advocacy efforts, we make it easier for individuals to navigate the complex mental health system, especially when it feels like there is no way forward. Growing our social media presence will amplify our message, increase our ability to connect with those in need, and bring vital resources directly to people’s screens.
