Data Deletion Policy
Data Deletion Policy
Effective Date: October 31, 2025
This Data Deletion Policy describes how users of the YouGood App and visitors to MHFCPA.org can request deletion of their information, and how Mental Health First Connects PA (“MHFCPA,” “we,” “us,” “our”) manages data responsibly. The YouGood App is owned and managed by Mental Health First Connects PA as part of its mission to promote community mental health awareness and education.
1) Current App Version (No Data Storage)
The current version of the YouGood App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. Users are not required to create accounts or provide names, emails, or other identifiers. All mental health awareness assessments within the app are completely anonymous and are used solely for educational and self-reflective purposes.
Since no user data is stored on our servers or within the app, no data deletion action is currently required or applicable for the existing version.
2) Future Versions (User Profiles or Data Storage)
In future updates, MHFCPA may introduce optional features that allow users to create profiles, save progress, or personalize their learning experience. When such features are introduced, the app will clearly disclose the data collected and provide built-in options for users to:
- View and manage their personal data.
- Delete their account and all associated information directly within the app.
- Submit a data deletion request via email if preferred.
Any future release that stores or processes personal data will be accompanied by an updated Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Policy, both accessible from within the app and on https://mhfcpa.org.
3) Requesting Data Deletion (For Future Use)
If a future version of the YouGood App or MHFCPA.org collects user data, individuals will be able to request deletion of that data by contacting us at:
Please include the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and specify whether the request relates to the YouGood App, MHFCPA.org, or both. Once verified, all identifiable data will be permanently removed within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
4) MHFCPA.org Website
MHFCPA.org may collect limited information through voluntary contact forms, such as names and email addresses, for communication or event registration purposes. Users may request deletion of this data at any time by emailing contactus@mhfcpa.org.
5) Data Security and Retention
MHFCPA uses secure hosting environments for all services. When data deletion is requested or applicable, personal information will be permanently erased from active systems and purged from backups according to our data retention schedule.
6) Children’s Data
The YouGood App and MHFCPA.org are intended for general audiences and are not directed toward children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that data has been collected from a child under 13, it will be promptly deleted upon notification.
7) Policy Updates
This policy may be updated to reflect new features, data practices, or legal requirements. The most current version will always be available at https://mhfcpa.org and within the YouGood App.
