Rhashidah Perry- Jones

Rhashidah Perry-Jones is a nonprofit leader, a consultant, an advocate, and a communications strategist. With expertise in crisis and strategic communications, government relations, organizational development and strategy, community engagement, digital and social media, and public relations, Rhashidah approaches strategic planning and communications by aligning an organization’s story with its goals. She identifies concrete actions organizations can take to realize its objectives while supporting diversity, equity and inclusion efforts as well as other policies along the way. With a track record in developing innovative integrated communications and engagement campaigns within non-profit, public and corporate agencies, her skill in forming strategic alliances within and across stakeholder groups have advanced business and strategic objectives. 
Rhashidah’s insight is strengthened by her more than 25 years of experience leading communications and engagement strategies across diverse industries with a focus on engaging and supporting BIPOC communities and other communities that have been marginalized or have experienced intentional neglect and disinvestment.

 Rhashidah is also a certified ADHD parent trainer and parent coach, Rhashidah teaches family members effective discipline techniques, elements of healthy communication, and offers practical tools to enhance their parenting skills and help them manage their ADHD households. She has provided parenting workshops on ADHD, Effective Disciplining Techniques, and Health Communication for the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services, The Free Library of Philadelphia, various nonprofits and public and private schools. She earned and MPA from Temple University, a BA from Lincoln University, completed post- graduate work in African American studies at Temple University and studied at St. Petersburg University and the National Normal University of Taipei. She is also a graduate of The Urban League Leadership Institute, Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange (GPLEX), and the AFL-CIO Organizing Institute. She sits on numerous boards and is the Founding Coordinator of Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) Philadelphia.
